Is Google Plus really your cup of tea?

Every day an individual comes up with an idea of startup and try to learn and implement social media strategy. The most commonly thought of all options a few years back was Google Plus. Since it came from the industry giants like Google, it was expected that it would be really good and capable of capturing the entire market of Facebook.

However, it proved to be one expensive failure and till date in spite of a variety of modifications being done, nothing could work in its favor.

Most of us have accounts of Google plus but hardly do people open it up and check what is on the platter there. If you wondering if it is really your cup or tea or if you could help your business grow from this, you are highly mistaken. Google plus is too late for the market and when it was introduced in 2011, Facebook, twitter and LinkedIn had already made quite a lot of buzz. Although the number of users of Google plus is quite appealing, only 10 percent of these users are actual contributors.

Facebook, twitter and LinkedIn had already made quite a lot of buzz. Although the number of users of Google plus is quite appealing, only 10 percent of these users are actual contributors.

When Google plus was launched, the thought was to offer the users a platform which is convenient and has all the features of other social networking sites combined together. But when you actually use it, it is inconvenient in the first place and second, you do not really understand what to do of it.

Share a post on Facebook and it would help you see the business grow but things do not create much hype on Google plus. The reason is simple, even if you purchase their schemes and offers for business promotion, there would be no much viewers to see what you have shared.

Though it is good to have Google plus business page and occasionally sharing your posts you have already shared in your other social media platform from SEO perspective as you do get no follow link from Google plus.

Although they have a backing from a brand like Google, there is not much scope for Google plus to survive and if you have to use it in any scenario, take help from the companies like Social Orange that could do the needful for you and help you derive results.
